Frequently Asked Questions

One skywriter airplane can effectively skywrite 7-8 letters. Conditions vary on whether you will be able to read the whole skywriting message all at once. If over 7-8 characters, we send up the 5 airplane team to Skytype. Skytyping is the dot matrix style skywriting. This process usually consists of 1-10 skytyping messages, over the course of 5 to 45 minutes.

Our skywriters are usually at an altitude of 10,500-12,500 feet when skywriting. The skytyping teams are usually at the same altitudes.

Skywriting is definitely not for light budgets. Single airplane skywriting starts in the $3,500.00 range and goes up from there depending on the number of characters and the location of the skywriting. Skytyping is billed two different ways. A single skytyping message, when we are up and skytyping another job, starts at $2,500.00. If we go up only for your job, we give you 10 messages, up to 30 characters each, at a starting rate of $17,500.00.
